Netscape Live3D extends Netscape Navigator so that you can experience distributed, interactive 3D spaces rich with text, images, animation, sound, music, and video. In addition to providing a high-performance VRML viewer, Live3D extends Netscape's Java, JavaScript, and plug-in interfaces to make it easy to develop distributed 3D applications on the Netscape Navigator platform. Due out in October is Live3D's Spinning Live3D LogoMoving Worlds based on the VRML 2.0 (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) specification. VRML 2.0 was recently ratified by the VRML Architecture Group and endorsed by many companies.
